I've been wanting to do some new art for quite awhile but took a long break over the holidays to think about what I wanted to do. I've got several ideas swimming around in my head and it's nice to finally start putting them on paper! Here are a few mixed media pieces I just finished up.

This first one is probably my favorite. It references John 15:11-12 (note the house numbers) and reads, "This is my commandment: that you love one another, that your joy may be full" in black text under the row of houses. Chimneys, doors, and the moon are text from my Bible.

I've also started a series of seasonal prints featuring a sweet little girl who likes polka dots! These girls just make me so happy! Here are the first two in the series. I have Easter and Mother's Day versions in the works so stay tuned...

I just love these little girl prints, and I'm offering them with custom text so they'll be more versatile. Here are a few examples:

1. LOVE
2. A hundred hearts would be too few to carry all my love for you.
3. The Greatest Love - For God so loved the world that
He gave His only begotten so that whoever believes in him shall have eternal life.
4. (Birth Announcement) Lucy, December 6, 2008, 7 lbs. 6 oz., 19 inches
Note...all my new prints are now available on my Etsy, and you can see better pics in my Flickr photos.
