Last week's challenge topic in my online painting group was to "illustrate an idiom". I chose "Home Sweet Home" and came up with this design. It's a mixed media art piece done on 9x12 canvas paper. Who doesn't love a reason to paint a cupcake?! Notecards with this artwork coming soon to my Etsy shop!!
Today has turned out to be a really rainy Saturday. But last night was fun....we sat on the back patio, listened to some good tunes, and snacked on chips & salsa until the lightening bugs came out!
