In Texas, you never know what type of weather you’ll get at Easter.  But most of the time, we shy away from chocolate candy because it melts whenever we do outdoor Easter egg hunts.  So we stick with Skittles, Starbursts, Smarties, etc. and that way the kids still get their sugar rush, and it’s not a melted mess.
This year, I used Smarties and we had a bunch leftover so I decided to use them up and make end-of-school party favors for the kindergarteners.

The kids will get these next week when the teacher hands out their kindergarten diplomas.
